a night filled with perspiration and more perspiration!

This Friday seems to be very happening. Very busy yet very happy as we would be only teaching tll 5pm. The rest of the day would be filled with dinner in the school itself. Before going to school, I went to the doctor for my swollen eye. Apparently, doc said Im allergied to something. It could be dust, smoke, food etc. First it was my body, then my eyes.. WATS NEXT! arghh.. I shall eat the air from now onwards. No more allergy. ahah..

It was a mad rush once I reached school. As it was time for us to go up to the hall, I quickly pulled my trolley and said,"GOoDbye Kelly!" thinking I would be faster than her and hernie, who knows, the next moment, I heard Kelly said, "GOODbYe Hernie!" and we both pulled our trolleys like a charging bull from our aisle! haha.. it was really hilarious as we were running away from Hernie. Butttt as we turned towards the exit, my dear Kelly dropped the handle of her trolley and things fell out of it! hahaha.. I ran towards the water cooler to fill my water bottle and had a great laugh as i heard Hernie said... ,"GoodBye Kelly!" Haha.. this is madness. However, Hernie came to the staff lounge to look for me and show me the flowers she did with her mum. So my dear Kelly, after picking up her stuffs, she said,"Good Bye Hernie!" Hahaha.. we were mad! Hernie and I quickly ran out of the staff room to 'park' our trolleys! Kelly was there too! and almost immediately, Hernie and I turned and ran up the staircases (to Hall) and Kel turned too! Hernie and I went mad climbing up the stairs then to realise.. kelly didnt race up as we thought she would. Later on we learned that she turned and ran to the toilet (next to the staircases). She had a great laugh in the toilet by herself! AHhahaha.. MAD! Hernie and I felt silly running up the stairs like mad.. hahaha.. it was a great start of the day (just like laughing!)

I started my day by giving my pupils to do the 4 pictures compo by themselves. In order to prepare them for the exam, I told myself not to help them. I took 6 lower ability pupils to the other classroom next door to help them as I know if i leave them alone, they probably give me rubbish. After 2hours, I went back to the class.. sighz.. some of my better ability pupils didnt do well! It was totally disappointing. I guess they needed more practices! ;(

Yeah.. it's time for bbq dinner. This year, instead of going somewhere to celebrate Teacher's Day, we organised the dinner in school! The tables and chairs were set up outside my classroom. My kids were puzzled why I carried a plastic gun. Haha.. well, our theme was 'Cowboys/Cowgirls'! Haha I didnt specifically dressed up for it. Hernie lent me a plastic gun insteady. hehe.. As I told the kids the reason why we placed tables and chairs outside the classroom (dinner), my dear kid asked me if I had called his mother. I turned around and continued walking them to the music room. That boy explained to his friends that I have to call his mother cuz he would be having dinner wat... =_= how innocent my darling .. haha..

took the kids to the music room to do recording for Whimsical Moment(music day) on 28 Aug (monday). Told them to take off their shoes was a TERRIBLE mistakes I've made! Their feet stink like crazy and I nearly die with that kinda pungent smell! anyway, Valerie(their music teacher) came up and played the piano while they sing and I record with Samuel's ipod. My goodness.. with the piano, the kids sang wonderfully and so muscial look-alike! Hehe.. the song rang in my head till now.. See the Lion Brave and Mighty.. lalalallaa... will update on Monday regarding the performance!

Finally it was dinner time! There were 4 young chaps bbq-ing for us. It was soooooo hot! I was perspiring like mad!

As the dinner proceeds, we had lucky draw for 33 winners. well..Im not one of them! sianz. haha.. oh.. our spirits were so high that we did line dancing (since we're in this cowboy theme!). After 3 songs, I was soooo tired especially under the heat! ahhhh... I helped the staff welfare committee (I'm one of them oso) to clear up the place. You know, most ppl juz left the place without clearing it. Left the pathetic few of us clearing. We had fun though! Our principal and vice principal stayed to help us clear the stuffs too! I'm so touched.

Reached home at 1030pm, totally sticky and perspiring like mad. Lucky there's an invention called AIR CON! hehe..
