KL Trip~
Hey ppl.. Im back from KL. WooOO.. went to KL on 8th Aug, back on 10th Aug! hehe.. was quite a fun trip.. but I think I fell sick there.. *sigh..
8th Aug
Celebrated National Day in school from 720am to 10am. It was quite boring as P1's prog was just to sit in the hall and watch the P2 performed their poems recitation. Then, prize presentation, sing national day songs.. thats all. *boo hoo hoo* The best part was dismissal. It seemed to me the teachers helping out with the dismissal only came from.. afternoon session! my goodness.. those teachers from morning session just stood at the back of the hall and WATCHED! $%*!@#$ talking about UNITY! angry! anyway, after the kids went home, I went home too! I was amazed how fast those teachers went home. STRAIGHT after 10am, where the kids were still dismissing, some teachers were ready to dash out of the school. Win right~
My baobei accompanied me for lunch and spent the rest of the time b4 I set off for KL. Hehe.. so sweet of him. Hernie, Kelly and Alex came in a cab at 345pm. KL here we come! set off at 430pm in FIRST CLASS Transtar Coach.. woo wooo.. my first time ever to sit on a first class coach. It cost me... $62! wow piang.. 16 seaters only, with TV, lots of movies and other entertainment! Quite interesting I would say.. but I feel is abit old (the coach itself). Another interesting thing was, there's a steward to serve us food and drinks. haha.. just like in an air plane! After leaving singapore for 2 hrs, we reached Pagoh for a short break. The steward hurried us into the coach and then told us the driver wanted to give the engine a break so they would switch off the engine. Never heard such thing b4. But well, since they said so, we had to agree! Who knows, after 5 minutes still no movements! We went down to check. The drivers and several men were TOPLESS to repair the engine (as it seems). FIRST CLASS? haha.. We actually went up to buy rambutans and eat and eat. keke.. wat a way to kill time! not long after, it was settled. Thank God!
After another 3 hrs of journey, we finally reached KL! Check in our hotel at Zon Suitestay. This was the second time I stayed there. Sighz.. no luck to stay in PNB Darby which Kelly Hernie and Alex praised and commented about. They simply missed that place. However we had no choice but to settle with Zon as we booked LAST MINUTES! After checking in, we met Haida and her friend at Lotus. Ate satay, maggie goreng, chicken tikka...etc. WEEE WEEE so tasty! hehe.. Next, we went back to hotel and zzz.....
best part... the room's toilet flush was out of order.. something went wrong and the water continued flowing through out the night! =_="
Guess wat.. the first night.. there was a BLACK OUT! I didn't know until my dear kelly together with her husband Alex came beside my bed and, "Wendy ah wendy... Wendy ah Wendy..." Haha.. I actually woke up and saw Kelly and Alex in a total darkness.
Kelly: Wendy... got black out leh.
me: huh.. ur huh..
(long pause)
me: then call the lobby lo.
(pause)
kelly: oh ya hor.
me: =_=
I think kelly was scared stiff! She walked behind Alex and left my room. I laid on my bed for a moment then went out of the room. Alex called the lobby and realised it was the whole building that suffered black out. Phew.. not just us! We went back to sleep where the eletricity current came on n off on n off.. lucky it was cold enough still to sleep! As I went back to sleep, I wonder why after all the ordeal.. our dear hernie was undisturbed! she ah... power...the noise of toilet bowl, the construction work (I dunno why in the middle of the night they are still working!), the black out etc...
9th Aug
Rise and shine! Hernie woke up at 7am, bathed and REPAIRED the toilet bowl. I was still lazing on bed. I couldnt believe Hernie could wake up so early and so all those chores. We went for hotel breakfast at 845am. My eyes could really open.. *yawn* our shopping boot camp is gng to start.. kelly and I were really worried! haha...
We took a taxi to Lot 10 to meet Zilah. Shopping started at 10am. We went to Sungei Wang then BB plaza. Not much luck for hernie. she was really disappointed with the progress she's making! We went for chicken rice for lunch. it was yummy!
After then, we took a taxi to One Utama. That place was mega huge. However, most of us didn't buy much too! I wonder wats wrong! Hernie blamed it on me cuz I told her not to buy a ugly dress at Lot 10. Then she said shes down on her luck! hahah.. WHERE GOT SUCH THING! After a long long shop at One Utama, we decided to head to The Curve. It's a new shopping place and we went there to check it out! In the end, we went to the marche there. Tell you what.. the food sucks. Seriously worst than singapore Marche.. boo hoo hoo.. wasted my stomach space. Somemore I ordered pizza which cost 22rm! $%^$%^. Of cuz, how can we give the curve a miss. We actually shopped another 2 hrs at the curve before heading down to KLCC. Such a tiring day~ imagine from 10am walked and walked and walked till 8pm. My legs were breaking apart... from KLCC, we bought doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, drinks and beer back to the hotel. Yippee.. finally got to go back but had to walk a distance! =_="
We lazed in the living room and watched tv together. The tv was so small and the colour sucks! Arghhh I really think Pan Pacific Hotel was much better! (the last time I stayed there when I went KL). anyway, had a beer and a sip of Choya(jap plum drink 15% alcohol!) shiok.. slept peacefully till 9am the next day! hehe....
10th Aug
The last day in KL. We woke up slightly later than the previous day as we were all too tired! Packed our stuffs and headed for breakfast. Oh man.. it sucks! We took a cab to Haida's condo after breakfast. Her rented condo was huge (the whole estate) but the room itself is rather small. Alex said it looked more like a HDB flat rather than a condo. hehe.. I agree! Well... not too bad cuz right on the first level is the swimming pool.. so shiok! We left our luggages there and headed to Mid Valley Mega Mall! Thats the first time I went. Hmmm... I only bought a moisturiser from The Face Shop. Is a very amazing moisturiser! After washing your face, just apply a bit of this moisturiser and start to rub it in a circular motion. The cream will slowly turn into WATER! thats so magical! haha... although I know I wont apply as often, I still bought it as it's juz too amazing! hehe..
Haida, Zilah and I went back to the condo to pick the luggages while the other 3 waited for us at the coach. At last we started our journey back home. It was a normal kinda coach. My whole body ached like no body biz.. *sighz* I miss Grassland coach! So far theirs the best! Ahhhh... after 5 hours.. Im finally back to Singapore.
I think I had enough of KL... next trip will be somewhere further! hehe.. ;)
