Racial Harmony Day

I was in saree.. hehe... Mrs Suraindrian 'wrapped' me. I was thrilled. A 6.5 yards of clothes could do wonder! hehe.. Aisah was so nice to leave her bangles for me. Kelly too! Hehe.. I even wore it to Suntec after school! Cannot believe myself! Mutasim(my last yr kid) said, "Miss Yeo,you really look like an indian!" haha.. Im gng to die luffing!



Anyway, this is me, in saree! hehe...

Today was Racial Harmony Day. As usual, the kids could wear any ethnic groups' costumes to school. This year, I wasnt that excited with my kids. I dunno why. I mean yes they were dressed in their costumes, juz like last year. But this yr, I dun have that kinda effort in getting them to take pictures. Surprisingly, I waited for P2 recess to meet my last yr kids. Hee.. Happily taking pictures with them! I miss them :(


The rest of my colleagues wore saree too! Is like the IN thing this year! My principal even asked if we are celebrating Deepavali! Hahha... Kelly in her HOT PINK SAREE!







Christina in her 'I cannot breathe' cheongsam! With a pair of boots, she should look like SAILORMOON! haha...









Glenn(my boy this year) came in his samfu. He wore this cap with a long long ponytail! So cute... The rest of the pictures were in school's camera or Kelly's camera. Clever me brought the camera without charging it. How clever.. =_=






After dinner, I went to meet Lijuan, Jolene and Xinyi for dinner. Well well, a simple meal at Swensens Suntec City. They had a great luff over my saree haha...Well, how many chinese actually get to wear a saree, properly tied! :P

Lijuan's car was so dirty! A layer of dust on the car. My goodness.. after my pestering and grumbling of the dust, she finally accept the fact that her car was REALLYdirty! Acc her for a manual car wash along Upper Serangoon Road. The indian man who was wiping the car.

he: Are you an indian?
me: No.
he: Chinese?
me: Yes (=^^=)

haha.. what a joke. Mdm Shanta said indian men like to see fat woman! WoooOO scary!

Well, my parents and sis got a shock when they saw me in saree too. They couldnt believe I actually wore that the whole day!

Phew.. is time for me to rest. Finally! Anyway, Im loving saree.. it covers my fat well.. AHHA....
