a busy busy week!

Busy with the capital B! After the off-in-lieu, we (as in the ppl in sch) went mad planning and organising events for the nothing-better-to-do pupils. Events on hand...

1. STAR Award
2. Lower Primary Games Day
3. Zoo Trip
4. Prize-Giving

We were really crazy going thru the papers with the pupils, checking their final scores, making sure we keyed in the attendance, conduct, star qualities, cca remarks, conduct remarks, blah blah blah and the list goes on! It was madness. At the same time, we have to give this ppl that list, that ppl that books, that ppl this, that ppl that. It was really hell. I hate it when we have so much time yet we cramped all things together. =_=" information overloaded...

Friday, we were able to 'settle' two events. Finally. STAR award is organised by Kelly. I was supposed to help her in the powerpoint slides...and guess when did I start? hehe... Thursday! Arghhh I hate myself some time for being a last min worker. Seriously I been trained to work last min haha.. thanks to NIE who trained me well. Finally got to finish it in the morn keke... Star Award is an event we organised to recognise efforts done by pupils who excel in their cca and other activities (not academic). So finally, the day arrived for STAR Award. I really think we dont have to make it very grand cuz the kids dont even appreciate! Ok nvm, this year was good cuz we combined the award ceremony with Deeparaya Concert (Deepavali + Hari Raya).

As I was incharge of the powerpoint slides, I dunno why I ended up in the control room, doing all the audio work. haha.. well, it was fun as I got to stay there and looked at the stage in a bird's eye view! Best of all, Im in air con room. Haha.. learn several things from kiaguan(supposingly he was the one in charge! hehe). After STAR award, we quickly rushed for lunch. went back to control room for STAR award part 2.

After the ceremony, we proceed to Lower Primary Games Day. Rachel was in charge then. As we ended the ceremony too early, we went back class. I got the kids to push the tables and chairs by the side of the classroom. Then we played some games. Guess wat.. my kids just can't play "Chop Chilli Chop Chilli Chop Chop Chop"!!! Say I'm the first to start, I will do an action, the person beside me will follow, then the next will follow. At the same time, I would do a new action so the list goes on... even after explaining and demonstrating for 15mins, half the class still dont get it! I wanna kill them... haha...

Just then we were told to go to the hall for games. It was much better than last year whereby I screamed till my voice turned coarse! Luckily this year not so jia lat! At the end of the day, we were all tired and turned jelly.. Thank God is a Saturday next day!
