Just finished watching a korean show on TV. It's not those typical koean shows which talked about puppy love. This korean movie - The Way Home, talked about how this little brat grandson grew to love his very old grandmother.

The granny stayed in kampong kampong side. The mother had to send the son for granny to take care. Granny is mute. She can only do hand signals.

At first, the little boy was a REAL BRAT! He played his games boy all day long and stopped unwillingly to put the thread thru the pin for the granny. Then, he continued playing. Till one day, the game boy had no batteries and he yelled and screamed for $ to buy batt. Granny has no $ of cuz, he kicked and broke her bowl, threw away her shoes. Granny had to walk BARE FOOTED at the rocky mountain! =(

Next, he screamed and cried for KFC! Granny went down hill and got a chicken instead. The boy fell asleep while waiting for granny (granny can only take real small steps and with the aid of a stick). After granny finished cooking (white chicken), she presented it to him. Guess wat.. that brat screamed and shouted that it was not KFC! He cried and refused to eat. Poor Granny =( In the end, he went to sleep but finished the chicken in the middle of the night as he was hungry!

There are many many more parts to what the granny did for the little boy. In the end, he realised his granny is very good to him but he had to return home. At this point, I cried bitterly. Till now, I'm still crying. It is really a very good show. My goodness.. I got to rent it to watch again. It is just too touching. Long time since I cried myself silly... ahh.. very touching. I thought of my granny and I have not seen her for a year.. what kinda grandchild am I!

Totally ashamed of myself. I am going to visit grandma soon. I promise!
