Chinese New Year

I never like CNY. If not for my grandmother, I don't think I even bother to visit those relatives. I mean most of them (basically.. ALL) stayed in the West. I hardly (or rather I've NEVER) met any one of my relatives over the year. Best of all, since young when I visit them, they would definitely say...

they: AH TING AH! Wow ... 胖了啊!

or

they: AH TING AH! 有 exercise bor!?!

Wow piang... they really got nothing better to say about me. 3 yrs back I suddenly slimmed big time, that's the only time I heard them praising me!

Chey. And best part is...it doesn't last long enough cuz I put on weight again. Pui... sian half.

oK enuff of this. This year I plucked up my courage to go house visiting (knowing they would tell me I put on weight again).

Day 1... to 姑姑's house (Dad's elder sis)

Their house is at Whampoa. Guess how I travelled there...



















Behind the truck. UNDER the HOT sun. I nearly became roasted pig! Really so warm. And my dear sister and mum sitting comfortably infront. @#$%^

When I reached gugu's house, I was so amazed! That place changed so much. WOoOo... renovating is so miracle! Oh. Even my cousin's daughter (I tot she is still a baby) has oready grown up to be a little toddler!

After gugu's house. We headed to Lakeside. Ah ma's house.

Aiyo.. so far... along the way it drizzled a bit bit. Imagining me behind that lorry! =_="

Finally reached ah ma's house in one piece. After rotting for minutes doing nothing, my cousins and I watched Superstar (repeat) on Ch 8. Then my 8th uncle played jacky chan's dvd. It was so hilarious and nice. No wonder fulin kept telling me it was nice!

At around 815pm. My mum and dad decided to leave for home. I walked to the MRT to take a train to vivocity to meet fulin. It's his birthday on CNY day 1!

We all ended up in Dragonfly (yes.. I heard u saying AGAIN?!). Jane Fulin, Henry and Melissa (Fulin's fren who is very the TALL!) went. We thought it was kinda boring cuz we really expected more people.

We got a table to put our drinks finally. We bought a chivas to start with. Being a birthday boy, Fulin had to drink more! Esp when a Hennessy gal approached him to sign up for member and purchase more liquor. In the end he went for it and we had another bottle of hennessy and champagne. Later on, Guobin came too! He was very on cuz initially he said he could not make it cuz he's wearing shorts. I smsed him and told him to change for Fulin's sake. and HE REALLY DID!



















When all was still sober...

After a while, Jane's bf came too!



















After dancing and drinking, drinking and dancing, Fulin was really kinda high. Same goes to Henry and Guobin. We finished all the bottles within an hour or two. Crazy!

It didn't take too long for fulin to concuss! Henry still disturbing him!

Eventually Fulin puked at the place where we stood and the guys got to drag him out of the club. Outside the club, he was as drunk as ever...



















He simply couldn't communicate with us. Just too drunk even to walk properly. Henry and I went to collect the car at Vivocity and the rest helped Fulin to the roadside. Luckily I told Henry to prepare a plastic bag and true enough, Fulin puked like no body biz in the car. Henry was really worried if the plastic bag was not big enough. This Guobin took the vomit bag and held it ourside the windows. He luffed and asked who want to TA BAO! EEEeeeeeeee

After sending him straight into his house, Henry drove us (me guobin n melissa) to his house. We took a cab and went home.

Chatted with Alvin on phone till 5am. I think I'm really an owl!

Day 2....大伯's house (Mum's eldest brother's house)

Before setting off, my bf came over to pai nian. Then he went to work. Poor boy... I sat behind the lorry again. This time it's not hot but... kinda gng to rain! *sian half*

All the way to Boon Lay!!!! Along the way it really drizzled and I was lucky that it wasn't those huge rain.

My auntie could cook very well and I'm totally in love with her prawn mee. It's like no where else you can find such tasty sweet nice prawn mee!!!Wow I happily cooked one bowl of it with LOADS of veg andprawns and SOUP!!! Yummy! I regretted not drinking more soup now as I typed! *cry*

The kids and adults got a chance to lao yu sheng this year. It was crazy! Esp for us the kids' side. The veg all came out of the plate! Aiyo! Straight after that, steamboat!



















So crowded how to eat peacefully? =_="

In the end, I decided to give up waiting. Sat in the living room until I got space to eat. And guess what... the stove heated up so slowly that I gave up eating altogether! Mafan!
