Mr Flu attacked.

today was a TERRIBLE day for me. i nearly 'faint' in school. Mr Flu attacked me right after I stepped into the staff room!! AHhhhhhhhhhh CHEwwwwwwwww. Damn the renovation. Damn the dust. Damn the messiness. AhhhHhh CHEwwwwwwwwww. ahh it was so terrible that during professional sharing (sharing among teachers on practices), I just stone and couldnt even join the other teachers when they visit the eco-garden (today's sharing was on conducting lessons in the eco-garden).

I was kinda resting on the table and waited for the rest of the teachers. I thought to myself. How on earth i can conduct lessons today. Ahh.. luckily, the first lesson was badminton. My kids were very happy today as they got to side walk around the cones and hit a BALLOON. you know kids lah. See balloons scream like dunno wat. ehhe..and well, long time nv see them perspire big time! Thats a good thing!

St after PE, i got another class of 2 periods PE. ahhh 1 period by me, the other badminton coaches to handle. But im in no condition to carry on the lesson. so i got them to learn spelling while I... stone at the desk.

Lucky for me, after badminton for this class, it's their recess time! yeahh.. I can rest finally! immediately went to the staff room and rot a moment ( im the first to be in the staff room as the coached released the children on time). Then we got a farewell 'party' to a colleague who will be leaving us to malaysia uni for her degree. so sad.. so juz as I was happily singing farewell song to her.. kelly reminded me about my canteen duty. AHhhhhhhhhhhhhh i ran out to the canteen to do my duty. *phew* i think christina(the other colleague for duty) didn't realise Im late for duty! haha.. :P

after recess duty I tot i really can rest oready. but... kelly got the photos developed (we developed in the morning) and took out a pack of scrapebook papers to do up a book for Haida (the colleague who is leaving). ahhh 1 hr to do up a BOOKLET! i think we must be superwomen. so we decided to spilt work. Hernie Kelly and I worked for 1hr and finally produced a nice booklet. Hehe... Im sure Haida will tear!

Back to class for 3 periods. Oh today was good! mr flu left me alone for awhile and I recap concepts taught with the kids (on length). I even explained to them CM, M, KM, INCH, etc. (they are not suppose to know.) hehe.. so linked those back to units. gave them each an ice cream sticks ( non standard items as units). THEY WERE SO THRILLED! aiyo.. i really dunno why one coloured ice cream stick can make them so happy! Anyway, taught them to use an ice cream sticks to measure. Group them in different group and we tried to measure the height and length of everything possible in the classroom. Of cuz... they went mad. but it was so fun. I love myself for being a non-boring teacher. haha..........

b4 i end the day, I gave my kids their homework. that's to measure tv, bed, dining table and door in their house with the ice cream stick given. then, paste the ice cream stick to the book. THEY WERE SO SAD! They tot they can play w the ice cream stick at home! =_=" KIDS!!!!

hehe... yeah.. end of day! My colleagues and I went to Rice Table at Suntec for Haida farewell thingy! We bought her a HUGE bouquet of sunflowers. All thanks to her best friends azilah! hehe.. so pretty! We had a whale of time laughing! How I wish today is Friday!

Watched Project Runway (couldnt make it on time for C.S.I!). This season of Proj Runway is weird! (esp when I noe who is the winner. who ask me itchy hands went to check online) Hmmm I tot Daniel V is much better but... who noes.. hehe *stay tuned!*
