meeting part 2

Yes. Today is another round of meeting.Ahhh.. however, it was a better one. I think becuz we were 'trained' to tahan meetings liao. Haha...

Went to Ya Kun early in the morning with Kelly, Hernie, Valerie and Haida. Kelly and Val bought their set of bread b4 I came. I ordered mine shortly after. Then, Hernie arrived. She was on the phone w her mum gossiping (God knows wat) and she went to order her food. As you know, when you order a set meal in Ya Kun, they would give u the eggs and the drink first, the bread later. Hernie got hers shortly after. However, we were puzzled with the number of breads given. Normal set (Kaya toast or Butter sugar) will have 2 slices of bread, halve them. Strangely, Hernie's only has 1 slice of bread, halved. Without doubting, Hernie took her first bite. Still find it strange, I asked the lady working there and she blurly passed me another plate with 4 halved bread. Hernie took another bite of the bread from the new plate given.

Just then, another lady came and looked at the receipt and said it was correct. "Cheese Kaya toast"ahhhhh.... =_=" at this very point, I wanna KILL HERNIE. She just simply dunno wat was going on and continued with her yaking on phone! In the end, Hernie took a $5 note and we told the lady she would pay for the new plate of bread. The lady took the money and went to the cashier. NOW, the cashier was blurred too. Soon, there was a queue. Haida went to order hers, as well as take the change from the cashier. Just as we tot all was settled, another plate of bread came. Ahhhhhhhh meaning, they didnt count Hernie's bread and charged the bread as though they wanna another plate. =_=" now we had 4 more slices of bread looking at us. Hernie ought to be shot!

Another thing to be amazed about! Valerie has a funny way of eating eggs! For me, I will mix the 2 eggs, put some soya sauce and pepper and GULP, I swallow all. For others, they will mix the 2 eggs, dip bread with eggs to eat then scoop some eggs and eat it. Guess what did Val do! She didn't mix the egg (ok I admit thats pretty normal) but she slowly trimmed off the egg white and eat it, leaving the yolk! I was amazed becuz I always tot Ya Kun's eggs are HUGE! now then I noe mostly is egg white! hahahaha i was so amazed that the egg can be trimmed like that! Super skilled!

Check out Val's egg! Nicely trimmed. Only can see the egg yolk! Im sure if is me, I will poke a hole to the yolk oready! haha... Oh I just wanna ask, Who eat the egg in this way? Coolx~



After our Ya Kun-ing, we went to school...walking. What a nice weather for walking! We reached school 10 minutes b4 our meeting. Yeah, I had the time to log on the internet, searched my files and packed my table abit bit. hehe..

We started the day by playing games! My department (PE) together with Pupils' Welfare Department came together for a very funny game! We sat facing another colleague. 8 rows of chairs (if im not wrong). When the balloon is thrown in the air, we are supposed to whack it towards the 'goal post' with our bat(made of newspapers). I didnt get to whack very much but I yelled and laughed and screamed and made many many sound effects. Hahahha Shimin turned around and said I shld be given a yellow card cuz im too noisy! *dying from laughter* everyone turned violent! hahahahha... v v thrilling..

Today I had to chair my Health Education Committee meeting. Seriously I dunno much wat to do or wat to say. My HOD PE did brief me about the things I have to do with the committee. But seriously, nothing serious, nothing important and nothing interesting. Anyway, I pulled through and oh in the end, after all the discussion, I 'volunteered' myself to do the work. Stupid rite? But seriously. When time to do work, tell me which kind soul will help? Maybe only Kelly. The rest, I dun wan to force ppl to do when they nv even offer or nv even say,"Huh wendy, why you do? No lah, too much work for you. Let us split the work and do." Chey, only in my dream I will have such ppl. Haiz. I got tonnes to do. Nvm. is powerpoint slides.. my forte.... haha...

The meeting was held in one of the special room for the very very weak pupils to have their lessons. Apparently, this room is not a classroom but our school is seriously lacking of classroom space, therefore, these group of pupils have to use this room for lessons. We found something funny in the room.

This is funny. What a pledge! Hahhahaha... Today... and always!







Ok finally the end of non-core meeting. We had lunch outside school coffee shop again. Boring. I had chicken chop once again. Im getting sick of protein...Ahhh....

Oh yeah, the 2nd half of the day was Level meeting. My level was combined with P2 level as Sandra is incharge of this 2 level. Poor her. Together with mother tongue teachers, we had at least 20 teachers in the meeting. Can you imagine the noise level!? I decided to type the minutes since I got nothing better to do. Hehe.. thats better cause I can keep myself awake! So many issues to iron out between departments. There was a war between ppl in eng department. I wonder if they have discussed it in their dept b4 level meeting. Haha..

After level meeting. It was time to go home. Finally. Miss Ling (one of our senior teacher, who was also my mentor teacher when I was doing attachment in school) invited some of us to her condo for a gathering, chit chat session. Actually she informed us yesterday. I also wonder who is gng. In the end, it was just me, hernie, kelly and val. 4 of us only! Luckily Rahimah joined us too. If not, Ms Ling's good intention would be backfired!

Upon arriving, I stayed in the function room to wait for the other gals to arrive (ms ling hernie n I took the cab first). Then, ms ling went up to her unit to take some drinks etc. At this point, the other 3 gals arrived and we went to the function room happily. The pizza man arrived too. I paid for the pizza... $41.30. Ms ling came down and was thrilled with the arrival of pizza. She asked me how much was it. "$41.30." I said. I guessed ms ling heard wrongly cuz she gave me $21.30. Oh man..... i was so malu and didnt open my mouth for the other $20. This Kelly saw it and luffed quietly too. ahhahaha.. so malu.

We had a great time talking and ms ling shared w us her em3 pupils. She is such a gd teacher. really an asset to our school. When i was under her, the way she teaches, I was really ashamed of myself. I ever mentioned b4, I nv tot Im such a lousy teacher until I've seen ms ling's lessons. she is soooooo good! She could maintain the discipline, she could gain the respect, she could deliver very powerful lessons! Will the education system get such good teachers in future? I really doubt so. The system is driving alot of good teachers out! so sad...

I ended my day by meeting up with my bf. He is such a boring man. I really dont understand why i chose him. Someone please enlighten me. Ahhhh.......

Time for me to sleep and enjoy queenie. Ahhh weekend is coming. meaning.. SCHOOL IS STARTING...........
