Happy Birthday, Singapore!

My blog cannot catch up with my life -- Agree.

I just have too many events up and coming in my life. If only I can live blog into a device, as I say, it types, layout the pics and post the entries! yippee... I will be thrilled. But then again, good things must wait. I took pain in posting most nice pics, rather than just typing. I think for that, I deserve a round of applause!

Thank you. Now, 'latest' update of Singapore's Birthday! Well, not the actual day thou! It was on 21st July! haha... the whole nation celebrated my birthday at Marina Bay! WooOO HOoOO!
















Check out the goodie bags in our conference room! Different colours to choose from but I chose green. I dunno... red too ndp, yellow too dirty looking, blue too dull and purple too gayish. Hahha...

All Primary 5 kids were very privileged to be able to go to a new location this year. The yellow bandanna was designed by Jac! Some looked cute!And becuz of these bandanna, we had no problem looking around for pps pupils!

After settling the logistics, we finally set off! I followed Aishah's group. We boarded a stupid bus with barely some cold air. They alighted us at Esplanade Bridge and we walked all the way to the site. Sianz half...
















This year, the decoration was very unique (for the ground level). Still on the way to our seats!
















Then up multiple flight of steps...

Lena brought her school there too! They arrived slightly before us so they were seated infront!

Check out our goodie bags! Oh, the bag is 'tearable' and we could unzip it and design it the way we want! Look closely, I added a white stripe to my green bag initially (Jac's idea!).

Whereas me, I made a MEGA HUGE ONE! keke... But ended up too big to carry. So I was busying unzipping it. =_=" extra work.

After all the waiting... it started with songs (as usual), songs (again) and more songs (yawn).

Then different pairs of men tied themselves to these big big balloons and moved them from the front to the back of the stadium.





















Huge. Aishah 'begged' the men who passed by us to let her carry the balloon but he said cannot. if not she might fly! haha...

But the sweetest thing this guy did was...





















Came back to Ais and gave her a balloon flower to say sorry. SO SWEET!

Then all the men in uniforms marched in, the helicopter started flying, the children going crazy.

All the while Kelly and I were not really paying attention to those dancers, while at least we did pay attention to the men in uniforms and fireworks. hehe..

Eventually, the show was brought to an end. It would not be complete without.. FIREWORKS!

After the show (8+pm), we waited for our turn to leave the place. Jac and rach came forward to join us (they were too bored I guess haha) and once again, we were busy taking pics.

So the above 8 were the ones who celebrated my birthday and sang me a song at 12midnite. Haha... nv wld I tot it wld be these ppl!
