Year End BBQ with a heavy downpour =_="

Yes.. the title said it all. I organised a BBQ for my kids and it had to pour BIG time that very day. Argh... wat luck man! I was the earliest to reach the pit and with 1001 calls asking if the bbq is still on. *of cuz! if not the food I order how!* Sent consent forms b4 sch closed and told the kids to be at Punggol Park at 4pm.
















The first 2 to arrive... it was still drizzling~
















Then came Minhui and Samuel with his dad. Look at the background. It was pouring like MAD!!! In the rain Fadhli was too hungry so he opened up the box of curry puffs his mum made. It was sooOoOOOo delicious lo.
















The gals were hungry so they attacked the Otah too!

After while, Junxiang's father came and he helped me to shift the food to block the rain from coming into the pavilion. Then after a long long while, Glenn's family came too. It was still pouring. :( Stacia's family and Felinda came too.

5+pm. Khengsiang's mum called me and invite us to their house. Well, I tot it was a flat. But it's not! 3 storey huge house. They came to lead the way and the parents who came to the park helped with the food to Junxiang's dad's lorry, then the kids to different cars *phew*

It was a mad rush, instructing the other kids the exact address to come and directing their parents. Finally,

At the car pouch, all parents helped to set up the fire. I scolded the kids for playing upstairs and they were all made to get out of the house to help with the BBQ. Well, as you can see... they didn't help much but making HELL LOTSA NOISE!

Then Xiangling came to help me. Hehe.. he thought I would be alone with the kids. Who knows becuz of the rain, so many parents stayed on to help me!

The best part was, Khengsiang stays opposite this childcare centre, whose boss happened to be their neighbour too! Therefore all the parents got to park inside the childcare centre. We even got the tables and chairs there! Thank God!

It was Claresta (gal in green)'s birthday too! The whole class celebrated with her. She brought goodies bags for them too.

The whole session was filled with laughters, noises by the kids, interaction from parents to parents, interaction between parents. Many came with the WHOLE family. Surprisingly my food was enough and even too much!
















Khoon Kiat got irritated with Xiangling's question on their games. Xiangling died luffing though.
















This is some gun game which I really dunno why they love it so much. Kids!

At the end of the session was not becuz we had the BBQ but the words I heard from the parents. It's really rewarding hearing them thanking you and praising you for the work you've done. Especially the gifts they gave me. I know they love me. haha..
