Finally!!!!

Finally my holiday starts!!! YEAH! *POPPING CHAMPAGNE* I will have all the time to blog blog and BLOG!

As I mentioned the other time, I was really busy with my school open house. I was supposed to be under Hernie, doing some welfare stuffs. Ended up, I had to do props. Becuz they are my good frenz, Kelly and Hernie had to do props with me too!

These are the things we did for the props:

1. draw musical notes, stick men, moon, windows and musical instruments on cardboards, paint, cut and touch up
2. paste mirrors (piece by piece) on a round cardboard -- disco ball
3. sew cloths together.
4. using glue gun to stick all the stuffs on the cloths
5. outline the pictures with glitter
6. made a magic carpet
7. cut rectangular shapes and wrap them with aluminum foil -- castle
8. did a shield and 2 spears -- Land of 300
9. did 3 hula-hoop , wrapped with aluminum foil and taped all round -- for the Spartans
   
10. did curtains for the windows
11. paste mirrors on cloth -- stars
12. magic portion cups
13. arranged the cloths in accordance to scenes, then stapled onto notice board
    
    and more!
    

That's all I could think of now. Argh... everyday we're breathing and eating about props. I was kinda panic last fri cuz we need to finish the backdrops in time for the wed full dress rehearsal. Thank God, we managed to finish by Tues!



















Melissa helped me with the Underwater world trip. Therefore she had the time to help out with the props too! Bravo! haha... (underwater world trip will be updated soon. I left the pics in sch haha).

Till the very last day, we're still doing props. *Sighz* after the rehearsal on Wed, Val came to me saying that to have the previous backdrops on the next scene seems weird. So, that means, we had to do 2 more scenes (We did Scene 1: Bedroom, Scene 2: Land of Boogie Woogie, Scene 4: Land of Symphony). Short of: Scene 3: Land of 300 and Scene 5: King's Castle. Arggghhh...,

Kelly, Hernie and I went to Joo Chiat Complex to buy more cloths. Then, we went to Hernie's house (AGAIN) to sew the cloths together. The funny part was, before we reached her place, I was on phone with one of the kids' mother. Then, Hernie started to sew. Kelly helped out. I was still on the phone. Then they finished sewing, I was still on the phone. Hernie went to bath and came out of bathroom, I WAS STILL ON THE PHONE! Wow piang eh! I hate to listen to those family squabbles. What can I do right?! =_="

Ok back to props, we managed to finish the backdrops on Thurs. However, not in time to arrange them in order on the board. Therefore, we did it during our break time on Friday.



















Kelly had to irrics me with the leftover cloth from the curtain. She tied a bow on her head. Silly! hahha..

Thurs, my frens' wedding! The couple was match made by me years ago and I was so glad that finally, they are married!

Friday was 'Eating with Family Day' that means, early dismissal. YEAH! so happy! Went to grapevine with Kelly then Henry came along with Irene and then Fulin with Mel. Then Kel went off with her parents, and the rest of us, went to Liquid Kitchen at Serangoon Gardens. Wat a CUI (lousy) place!

Sat, Open House. No pics with me cuz I was always stucked behind the scenes! *sobs* Thanks to those who came and watched. keke...

Oh.. Wayne's birthday celebration on Sat too! I dun have the pics. Will get from Lena. *sobs* I need to buy a camera fast enuff!!!!
