Initiative
I am really amazed with some people... esp SOME teachers.
Just as we are always trying to tell our pupils to take initiative in offering their help, teachers themselves have no such initiative!
Argh... Been 2 days since school reopened. As I mentioned previously, the school was kinda mad becuz we are trying to settle the p1 kids. Those little dragons really testing our patience! So noisy so talkative sooooooooooo stubborn. Some kids, even when you tried to warn them or scold them, they IGNORE you! How brilliant!
Back to initiative. I feel that (and most of us agree) teachers really should be responsible for their own class (at least). They cannot just depend on the person holding the mike to do all the disciplinary job! Imagine almost all the p2 teachers have to walk to the other side to handle those p1 kids. I am not saying all of the classes though but some of them...ahh... the teachers can juz stand there and build sandcastles in the bloody air. ARGH!
And thru this kinda arrangement I realised, it takes someone with the X factor to handle small kids. I'm not saying I am very good but the thing is, I dun remember having difficulties to get them to line up in twos, sit in twos or to keep quiet even when I'm a green horn! Bloody hell.. I have to complain... some teachers really NO COMMON SENSE!
ARgh! No common sense like walking faster than the olympic runners, got the kids to sit like spacemen (still carrying the bags when they sit down), allowing the kids to dress like Jay Chou (shirts all tucked out) and best of all.... turned them into grapes (a bunch of them sitting or walking... not in twos). Come on ppl... KILL ME... no initiative leh teachers! This is not about inexperience, this is about no common sense, no love for the job and no sense of discipline!
I guess APD got to do more this year. Good luck to you Rachel.
APD = Actually Poor Discipline.
AHhaha..
****where're their brains huh!?****
